The odd shape is where it nests into the old garden shed Couldn't believe the price of doors, and none were the right size, so I decided to build my own. I expect I'll regret this when the cheap softwood swells and warps. Oh well it kept me quiet for a weekend. The trusty homemade router bench proved invaluable to machine all the rebates Getting there now. Still loads of tidying up, gaps to fill and preserving to do etc, but I now have a useable workshop First big challenge - where am I going to build this ? I couldn't negotiate access to the garage as Sarah won't leave her MX-5 out in the cold, especially for the length of time I expect this build to take. So the shed it is. Trouble is it is only half the size I need. Some major mods needed. I'm going to turn it 90 deg, split it apart and rebuild to aound 5m x 2.5m that should do it |
